I decided to start a "Throwback Thursday" series on TheBlankStop -- every Thursday, I will be posting an older tune that I believe is a "classic" as far as experimental/beat music goes. So to start off, this week's Throwback Thursday is "Apart" by Balam Acab. Named after a Mayan demigod who created rainbows by piercing clouds with arrows, Balam Acab is an American producer who began messing with experimental music at a very early age in high school. "Apart" is probably one of his most popular productions (and my personal favorite); check out an unofficial video for it here:
